Parliamentary Elections, 10 and 17 June 2012
- Following an invitation from the Permanent Representation of France to the OSCE to observe the 2012 parliamentary elections and in accordance with its mandate, the OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights deployed an Election Assessment Mission (EAM) for these elections.

Presidential Election, 22 April and 6 May 2012
- Following a preliminary invitation from the Permanent Representation of France to the OSCE to observe the 2012 presidential election, ODIHR undertook a Needs Assessment Mission, which noted that most previous recommendations remain unaddressed. As no major changes to the electoral and legal framework have taken place since the 2007 presidential election, it was concluded that an observation activity would not add significant value in the current context.

Presidential Election, 22 April and 6 May 2007
- Following an invitation from the French Foreign Ministry and the conduct of a needs assessment mission from 12 to 14 March, ODIHR deployed an election assessment mission to assess the presidential election on 22 April.

Presidential Election, 21 April and 5 May 2002
- Following an invitation from the Republic of France to assess the presidential elections scheduled on 21 April and 5 May 2002, an OSCE/ODIHR delegation undertook an assessment visit to France on the occasion of the first round on 21 April to assess the electoral process in light of OSCE commitments.
