The OSCE Programme Office in Dushanbe (Office) organized a roundtable discussion on the implementation of the National Programme for Rehabilitation and Social Reintegration of Juvenile Offenders for 2020–2024 (Programme). The discussion took place in Dushanbe on 29 July. Fifteen representatives of Tajikistan’s Ministry of Health and Social Protection, the NGO “Legal Initiative” and other civil society members took part.

The OSCE Border Management Staff College (BMSC) completed its 29th Staff Course for Women Leaders on 19 July 2021. The course was convened via video teleconferencing.

In the framework of the 29th Staff Course for Women Leaders, the OSCE’s Border Management Staff College (BMSC) organized a roundtable discussion on 9 July 2021 in-person and online about border security and management and the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The OSCE Programme Office in Dushanbe completed two and a half-week training course on “Rescue on Water” for representatives of Tajikistan’s Committee of Emergency Situations and Civil Defence (Committee) in Dushanbe on 7 July 2021.

A one-month regional Explosive Ordnance Disposal course (level 2) concluded at the Regional Explosive Hazards Training Centre in Chimteppa on 18 June 2021.

Valeriu Chiveri, Head of the OSCE Programme Office in Dushanbe, met the Interior Minister of Tajikistan, Colonel General Rahimzoda Ramazon Hamro on 17 June 2021 to discuss areas of co-operation for 2021.
