This factsheet describes efforts by the OSCE project Co-ordinator to promote and enhance the culture of dialogue within Ukraine, based on the expressed needs of its Ukrainian partners, as well as outlines Co-ordinator's approaches to facilitating dialogue processes.

This Guide on Addressing Hate Crime at the Regional Level was developed as part of a project implemented by the OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (ODIHR) to build a comprehensive criminal justice response to hate crime.

The manual represents an auxiliary tool for teachers of Serbian as a non-mother tongue in the achievement of learning outcomes in the first cycle of education. It contains 600 recommended words and grammatical and semantic elements that students from first till fourth grade of elementary school need to acquire, in line with the learning outcomes and thematic units that are part of the newly adopted curriculum for Serbian as a non-mother tongue. The purpose of the manual is to enable smoother adoption of the most frequently used terminology in Serbian. The manual also includes ten illustrations which will be of practical assistance to teachers in organising the Serbian language classes. The publication is available in Serbian language only.

The OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (ODIHR) is implementing the Promoting Democratization and Human Rights in Belarus project to assist the country in meeting its OSCE commitments and other international obligations with respect to the rule of law, human rights and equal participation of women in democratic processes. The two-year project began in January 2018 and is funded by the European Union. ODIHR will provide assistance to Belarus based on the Office’s extensive experience in democratization and human rights work across the OSCE region.

This publication provides a methodology for mapping unreported hate crimes against selected communities using a respondent-driven sampling (RDS) technique. It has been developed as part of a project developed by the OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (ODIHR) to build a comprehensive criminal justice response to hate crime.

This manual sets out the basic principles for initiating and conducting joint hate crime training activities for police and prosecutors. It outlines what issues need to be raised and how such training activities are expected to shape police and prosecutors’ understanding of hate crimes.

This publication is the newest addition to the OSCE’s collection of toolkits and guidance on integrating a gender perspective into efforts to build peace and security. It illustrates how a gender-sensitive approach to operational practices can benefit conflict prevention, crisis management and post-conflict rehabilitation and provides concrete suggestions on enhancing women’s participation in peace operations.
