OSCEval News

OSCEval News is the evaluation newsletter of the Office of Internal Oversight. Its aim is to provide insights into the OSCE's work in evaluation, by sharing key evaluation findings and conclusions, as well as developments regarding the OSCE's overall evaluation culture.
  • EvalNews Edition 15 - Annual Evaluation Network Meeting 2020 (online)
    This edition of OSCEval News is dedicated to the OSCE’s 2020 Evaluation Network Annual Meeting, which was conducted in September of that year (online). Around 60 OSCE officials attended the meeting, as well as representatives of the OECD/DAC, UNEG's Decentralized Evaluation Interest Group, and the Institute for Development Strategy in Germany.

  • EvalNews Edition 10 - Evaluation Network Meeting Tirana 2019
    This edition of OSCEval News is dedicated to the OSCE’s 2019 Evaluation Network Annual Meeting, held in October of that year in Tirana, Albania. The meeting was hosted by the OSCE Presence in Albania, and organized in cooperation with OIO. It brought together over 30 members of the Evaluation Network and a few other participants.

  • EvalNews Edition 9 - Strategic Policy Support Unit
    This edition of OSCEval News is dedicated to the external evaluation of the OSCE’s Strategic Policy Support Unit (SPSU). The evaluation was commissioned and managed by the Office of the Secretary General, and conducted by an external consultant. The Office of Internal Oversight provided back-stopping services and advice during the process.

  • EvalNews Edition 8 - Evaluation Network
    This edition of OSCEval News is dedicated to the OSCE’s Evaluation Network. The OSCE Evaluation Network was established by OIO in 2013. It is a cross-organizational mechanism that is open to OSCE officials from all executive structures who work on monitoring and evaluation, are involved in the planning, commissioning and managing of evaluations, or simply interested in exploring related topics and in strengthening results-based management in the organization overall.
