OSCE Mission to present report on language rights compliance by municipalities in Kosovo
PRISHTINË/PRIŠTINA, 20 June 2014 – The OSCE Mission will present its report on how municipalities in Kosovo comply with language rights, at a conference in Pejё/Peć this coming Monday.
The report assesses to what extent municipalities in Kosovo implement the Law on Use of Languages, including in the multilingual provision of services.
OSCE Mission in Kosovo Communities Section Programme Officer, Shqipe Hajredini, and Kosovo Language Commissioner, Slaviša Mladenović, will speak at the event.
Media representatives are cordially invited to attend the conference, on Monday, 23 June 2014, at the Hotel Dukagjini in Pejё/Peć, starting at 14:00 hrs.

An OSCE-funded photo exhibition on the negative effects of damaged bilingual road signs will open on Tuesday, 24 June 2014, at the Cultural Centre in Pejё/Peć, at 13:30 hrs. The photographs were taken by young people from different communities living in western Kosovo. Media are invited to attend the event.
