This legal review analyses the current law on Electronic Media of Montenegro, aimed at assisting local authorities in the preparation of future amendments. The analysis was prepared by Professor Dr Sandra Bašić-Hrvatin, a well-known expert in Montenegro. The law was analysed and compared with OSCE commitments, the EU Directive on Audio-visual Media Services and Council of Europe recommendations.

This legal review analyses the recent amendments on the right of reply introduced in the Statute on Periodic Press and News Agencies of Slovakia (Zákon o periodickej tlači a agentúrnom spravodajstve), No. 167/2008 Z. z., as amended on 11 October 2018. The legal review was prepared by Dr. Andrey Rikhter, Senior Adviser, Office of the OSCE Representative on Freedom of the Media (Vienna), and Professor of Media Studies habilitated in Slovakia. The current amendments were submitted to the National Assembly of the Slovak Republic on 11 January 2019.

The Recommendations on Protecting Media Freedom and Freedom of Expression in the Regulation of Online Content in South East Europe were prepared following the OSCE South East Europe Media Conference organised by the OSCE Representative on Freedom of the Media in co-operation with OSCE Field Operations in South East Europe. The objective of this non-paper is to contribute to the debate on the issue of Internet regulation, and to enhance regional cooperation in the Western Balkans by involving OSCE participating States, policy makers, media professionals, civil society and all other stakeholders ahead of the adoption of new policies.
