The OSCE Annual Report provides an overview of the Organization's activities in its field operations and institutions, and co-operation with other organizations.

La Organización para la Seguridad y la Cooperación en Europa (OSCE), compuesta por 57 Estados participantes pertenecientes a tres continentes (Norteamérica, Europa y Asia), es la mayor organización de seguridad regional del mundo.

Estas directrices han sido elaboradas para ayudar a los docentes a combatir la intolerancia y la discriminación contra los musulmanes. Están destinadas a un amplio público, que abarca responsables de la formulación de políticas educativas y autoridades docentes, formadores del profesorado, profesores, rectores y directores de escuela, personal de los sindicatos de profesores y asociaciones profesionales, y miembros de ONG.

"A shared vision binds together the multi-faceted diversity of the OSCE and its activities. This vision is of a territory, stretching across 56 countries, that is united and at peace. It is a vision that is founded on a Decalogue of principles and shared values starting, as the Helsinki Final Act declared, with the need to promote the "inherent dignity of the human being". This singular vision, born in Helsinki, still inspires the work of the OSCE in all its aspects. The Finnish Chairmanship paid fitting tribute to this vision. The determination of the Chairman-in-Office and his team throughout this particularly challenging year was remarkable. The crisis in Georgia in August was shocking. The war was also a reminder of our core mandate: to build a space of co-operative security and to work toward overcoming our- often serious- differences by peaceful means". El objetivo de la Guía es presentar buenas prácticas y facilitar instrumentos para configurar procesos de migración laboral sensibles al género. La finalidad que persigue es alentar a los Estados, especialmente a los del área de la OSCE, a que incluyan medidas sensibles al género en sus políticas de migración laboral. Ha sido concebida específicamente para que la utilicen los responsables de la elaboratión de políticas y los profesionales. De ese modo, se confía en que las políticas de migración laboral se elaboren de forma más justa desde el punto de vista del género, de conformidad con los compromisos y valores comunes de los Estados participantes de la OSCE.
