The Principal Deputy Chief Monitor of the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission to Ukraine (SMM) Alexander Hug travelled to eastern Ukraine from 6 to 10 December 2015 to assess the security situation, solicit support for opening of new Forward Patrol Bases and encourage all concerned to work towards peace and normalization in Ukraine.
