OSCE Secretary General Lamberto Zannier and Chief Monitor Ertugrul Apakan visit Dnipropetrovsk, Ukraine

DNIPROPETROVSK, Ukraine, 11 February 2015 - OSCE Secretary General Lamberto Zannier and Chief Monitor of the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission (SMM) to Ukraine, Ambassador Ertugrul Apakan, will visit Dnipropetrovsk Ukraine on Wednesday and Thursday to meet government officials and will also visit displaced people affected by the ongoing conflict in Eastern Ukraine.

Secretary General Zannier will also meet with the SMMU monitoring team based in Dnipropetrovsk.

On Thursday, 12 February, at 13:00 (local time) the Secretary General and Chief Monitor will hold a press conference where they will answer questions from the media.

Media are invited to join the press conference at Most-Dnepr Centre, Komsomolskaya 40b, (Комсомольская 40 б). No advance accreditation is necessary. The event will be livestreamed (the link will be distributed ahead of time via @osce_smm Twitter feed).

On Friday, 13 February, the Secretary General will be in Kyiv. More details on media opportunities in Kyiv will be issued separately.
