OSCE Mission to Skopje shares best practices in education with Bosnia and Herzegovina delegation

SKOPJE, 5 November 2007 - A delegation of education experts from Bosnia and Herzegovina arrived in Skopje today on a visit to study school governance issues, in particular, school board and school management functioning in the host country.
"During the past two years we have been assisting the country through our projects in increasing awareness among parents and teachers on the benefits of efficiently functioning school boards. We work closely with school boards and school directors. The results have been encouraging, and we are happy to share our experiences with our colleagues from Bosnia and Herzegovina. I am sure both countries will benefit from this exchange of best practices and lessons learnt," said Ambassador Natalya Drozd, the Acting Head of the OSCE Mission to Skopje.
The delegation will visit different education offices, including primary and secondary schools in Skopje, Kicevo and Kumanovo.
The visit was organized by the OSCE Spillover Monitor Mission to Skopje and the OSCE Mission to Bosnia and Herzegovina.
