OSCE Mission to Skopje organizes public forum on civic participation in Kichevo municipality

The OSCE Mission to Skopje organized a public forum in Kichevo municipality on 11 December 2015 to promote the inclusion of civil society in decision-making process and to increase the co-operation between the municipality and the civil sector in policy implementation.

Transparency, inclusiveness in policy-making and co-operation in implementing the municipality’s programme were the focus of three working groups of the Forum, which is an informal body gathering representatives of municipalities, NGOs and ordinary citizens to tackle issues of common concern.

This activity marks the close of the Mission’s project to improve inter-ethnic relations in Kichevo through confidence-building and improved co-operation between civil society and local self-government.
