Traditional songs, dances and poems from thirteen different ethnic communities were presented at an OSCE-supported performance in Skopje on 11 December 2013.
The event is supported by the OSCE Mission to Skopje and the national Agency for Community Rights Realisation.
A series of fifteen events was organized in a number of municipalities to promote the rights of ethnic communities, including cultural rights, and their practical implementation.
Recently, the Mission supported research on the actual participation of communities in the cultural life of the country. The results, among others, showed a lack of participation, dialogue, and transparency during the process of financing cultural events.
