Environment for Serbia
The viewpoints expressed in this document represent extracts from consultancy sessions carried out in seven working groups of Serbian NGO representatives as they prepared for the conference "Environment for Europe," Belgrade, October 2007.
The sessions took place in the format of working groups on the following topics:
- Values for Sustainable Development
- Sustainable Production and Consumption
- Biodiversity
- Energy
- Education
- Aarhus Convention (Public Participation)
- Regional Priorities.
The sessions were facilitated by the OSCE Mission to Serbia, the United Nations Development Programme and the Regional Environmental Center, Serbia Office. All viewpoints of the NGOs were endorsed and presented at the joint meeting in Belgrade at the OSCE Mission on 19 July 2007.
