The third session from the conference OSCE Security Days, on Reducing risks posed by transnational challenges. Taking place at the Hofburg, Vienna on 31 March 2017, the session featured a debate panel discussing the ways to reduce the risks posed by transnational threats such as terrorism, organized crime or trafficking.The panel featured Hans Bonte, Mayor of Vilvoorde, Belgium, Julio Andrade Ruiz, Vice Mayor of Malaga, Spain, Elizabeth Johnston, Executive Director, European Forum for Urban Security, Jonathan Birdwell, Head of Policy and Research, Institute for Strategic Dialogue and Gautam Babbar, Chief of Strategic Planning and Interagency Affairs Unit, UNODC. The debate was moderated by Rasa Ostrauskaite, OSCE Co-ordinator of Activities to Address Transnational Threats.
