The booklet on “Women’s Inheritance Rights” is designed to raise awareness among the general public, including women from rural communities and relevant institutions about women’s inheritance rights. Based on the feedback received during the Mission’s workshops on women’s property rights in 2021 and 2022, the Mission gathered a series of common issues in the implementation of women’s inheritance rights. The booklet responds to these issues by explaining the legal framework in a simplified and relatable manner, illustrating them through sample cases in the format of frequently asked questions and informing affected women, family members and civil society organizations about actions they can take to protect and enforce women’s inheritance rights.

As part of its ongoing support to Ukraine, the OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (ODIHR) has conducted a survey of close to 1,000 Ukrainian refugee women to ensure their experiences and vulnerabilities are reflected in policies to address human trafficking in the OSCE region.

This second revised edition of the procurement guidance is a key document facilitating the implementation of anti-trafficking measures in OSCE’s own procurement across its executive structures and aligning the OSCE’s mandates with its processes. The guidance aims to support procurement and anti-trafficking staff in the OSCE with the background knowledge to implement anti-trafficking measures in procurement activities alongside training workshops, procurement risk analyses, and local action plans. Preventing trafficking and labour exploitation in supply chains is no easy task. By following these steps, the OSCE is developing further expertise and is supporting OSCE participating States and the international community in their ongoing efforts to prevent trafficking for forced labour in their supply chains.

ODIHR’s publications, factsheets, and practical guides are vital tools to assist all those working to strengthen democracy and human rights across the OSCE. The Office's 2022 publications covered a wide range of topics, including human trafficking, parliamentary integrity, the right to peaceful assembly, election observation, promoting the political participation of people with disabilities, combating hate crime, Roma inclusion, and many more. Others were translated for the first time into other languages of the OSCE region.

The project is implemented in co-ordination with Council of Europe, UN Agencies, ODIHR, OSCE Gender Issues Programme and local OSCE field operations. It contributes to SDG5 and SDG16.
