The collection of papers, edited by the Mission to Serbia, is covering topics such as the main hearing, presentation of evidence during the main hearing, cross examination and presentation of evidence, as well as the role of the main hearing in conducting a trial within reasonable time. The authors are judicial experts from throughout the region. The publication, printed in 2015, aims at focusing the attention on different comparative law solutions and experiences in conducting the criminal proceedings in adversarial systems. This is the fourth publication edited by the OSCE Mission to Serbia, on criminal procedure reform in the region. Not available in English.

Adaptation was done by the OSCE Project Co-ordinator in Ukraine to provide assistance to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in enhancing its capabilities for humanitarian demining. Publication of this document became possible thanks to co-operation with the Geneva International Centre for Humanitarian Demining and financial assistance from Government of Norway.
