OSCE Project Co-ordinator in Uzbekistan concludes professional training courses for female managers
A one-week training course for 58 experienced women managers organized by the OSCE Project Co-ordinator in Uzbekistan (PCUz) concluded on 16 December 2017 at the Westminster International University in Tashkent (WIUT).
The participants enhanced their knowledge of human resources management, marketing, and financial and strategic management, earning certificates issued by the WIUT.
This training course was the last in a series of courses for female managers selected from across the country, bringing the total number of participants to 150. The seminars were conducted as part of the project Support to Managerial Capacity Building of Female Managers, funded by the governments of Austria, Germany and the Netherlands. The best participants in the courses will be offered professional internships in companies in Europe. The project, run by the Project Co-ordinator in Uzbekistan, is being implemented in co-operation with the Business Women’s Association (BWA) and the WIUT.
