OSCE supports training on integrity and anti-corruption
On 8-9 November 2024, the OSCE Programme Office in Dushanbe facilitated a two-day training session focused on integrity and anti-corruption. Seventeen representatives from the State Committee on Land Management and Geodesy, as well as the Committee on Architecture and Construction, participated in the training. The sessions were conducted by eight trainers from the Academy of Public Administration (APA) in Dushanbe and took place at the APA's Professional Development Centre for Employees of Bodies in Charge of Combating Corruption (Anti-Corruption Centre).
During the event, participants learned about the key components of the main strategic policy document, the State Anti-Corruption Strategy until 2030. They reviewed national anti-corruption legislation, including the 2020 Law on Combating Corruption and the 2012 Law on Anti-Corruption Screening of Normative-Legal Acts and Draft Normative-Legal Acts. The training also covered topics such as the social and psychological aspects of corruption, corruption risk analysis, and a review of foreign experiences and international best practices.
This event marks the conclusion of a series of specialized training sessions organized this year for civil servants from various sectors. Beginning next year, APA trainers will deliver similar integrity and anti-corruption training using newly developed training modules.
This activity is part of the OSCE Programme Office in Dushanbe’s ongoing support for Tajikistan in promoting good governance and implementing the State Anti-Corruption Strategy in alignment with international standards.
