OSCE Programme Office in Dushanbe organizes exchange visit for Tajik border troops officers to Moscow’s international airports
A study tour to the international airports of Moscow was organized by the OSCE Programme Office in Dushanbe for 15 representatives of Tajik Border Troops from 4 to 7 December 2017.
During the study tour the participants, who mainly serve at airport border crossing points in Tajikistan, visited Moscow’s Vnukovo and Domodedovo international airports on 5 and 6 December 2017 respectively.
They shared their knowledge and experiences with colleagues from the Russian border service. The participants were also introduced to the legal framework and operational procedures used in Moscow during the arrival and departure of passengers.
Among the main aims of the visit was to strengthen the co-operation between the border services of Tajikistan and Russia and to facilitate discussions on good practices. In addition, Tajik border officers were acquainted with the technology and equipment installed at the airports.
Fejzo Numanaj, Head of the OSCE Programme Office’s Politico-Military Department expressed his appreciation to the Russian border service’s hospitality and their support in arranging and organizing the exchange visit.
