Regional explosive ordnance disposal course for specialists from Central Asia conducted in Tajikistan

Thirteen specialists from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan completed a three-week regional Explosive Ordnance Disposal course (EOD level 2) at the Regional Explosive Hazards Training Centre (REHTC) in Chimteppa, Tajikistan, on 29 October 2021.

OSCE trains psychologists from women resource centres in Tajikistan in providing psychological support to survivors of domestic violence

A five-day training course on “Activities of psychologists in domestic violence issues”, organized by the OSCE Programme Office in Dushanbe concluded on 1 October 2021 in Dushanbe. Twenty-one female psychologists from women’s resource centres (WRCs) and Tajikistan’s Committee on Women and Family Affairs from the Sughd, Khatlon, Rasht Valley regions, and Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous Region of Tajikistan took part.
OSCE supported training course for lawyers providing legal assistance to survivors of domestic violence in Tajikistan

The OSCE Programme Office in Dushanbe concluded a four-day training course for lawyers working in the field of domestic violence on 17 September 2021 in Dushanbe. Twenty-one lawyers from the OSCE-supported Women’s Resource Centres (WRCs) and local authorities from the Sughd, Khatlon, Rasht Valley regions, and Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous Region of Tajikistan attended.
The fourth one-year Postgraduate Diploma in Border Security and Management for Senior Leadership Course: Completion of Module three in Greece

The OSCE Border Management Staff College (BMSC) jointly with the Geneva Centre for Security Sector Governance (DCAF) concluded the third module of the fourth one-year Postgraduate Diploma in Border Security and Management for Senior Leadership Course on 6 August 2021. The sessions were held in a blended format at the Multinational Peace Support Operations Training Centre (MPSOTC) in Kilkis, Greece.

A two-day training course on probation as an alternative sentencing option not related to isolation from society concluded on 30 July in Dushanbe. The OSCE Programme Office in Dushanbe organized the training session in co-operation with the Main Prison Department under Tajikistan’s Ministry of Justice and Prison Reform International.
