Council of Europe Secretary General to address OSCE Permanent Council on Thursday

VIENNA, 13 July 2005 - Terry Davis, the Secretary General of the Council of Europe, will address the OSCE Permanent Council in Vienna on Thursday, 14 July.
Media representatives are invited to observe the opening of the Permanent Council session to hear Mr Davis deliver his speech at 10.00 in the Neuer Saal.
Mr Davis is expected to discuss issues such as the fight against terrorism, the treatment of national minorities, human trafficking, fighting intolerance and discrimination, election observation and the rule of law.
For admittance to the Hofburg Congress Centre, please bring your OSCE accreditation badge or a valid press card to the security desk (main entrance from the Heldenplatz). Parking space is available for the press between 9:00 and 12:00 on Thursday, 14 July, in the OSCE-reserved parking area on Heldenplatz. Temporary parking permits must be collected from the security desk.
