Clarification issued by Parliamentary Assembly

COPENHAGEN, 26 April 2001 - The press statement that was posted on 20 April 2000 concerning the political situation in Ukraine should not have implied that it was an official statement of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly, the OSCE Expanded Bureau or the OSCE PA General Committee on Democracy, Human Rights and Humanitarian Questions, but only the personal opinion of two members of the Assembly, who also happen to be Officers of the General Committee.
