OSCE/ODIHR observers to hold press conference in Skopje on Wednesday
SKOPJE, 12 September 2017 – On the occasion of the formal opening of the election observation mission deployed by the OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (ODIHR) to observe the 15 October municipal elections in the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, the mission will hold a press conference in Skopje on Wednesday.
Ambassador Audrey Glover, Head of the OSCE/ODIHR election observation mission, will introduce the role of the mission and its upcoming activities. The mission's deployment follows an invitation from the authorities of the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia.
The OSCE/ODIHR election observation mission and the OSCE Mission to Skopje operate separately and independently under their own mandates.
Journalists are invited to attend the press conference at 14:00, Wednesday, 13 September, in Ballroom 2 of the Skopje Marriot Hotel, Plostad Makedonija 7, Skopje.
