Human Rights and Gender Assessment in the Armed Forces — Facilitators Guide
This publication offers comprehensive guidance on how to conduct human rights and gender self-assessment in the armed forces to contribute to proper respect for, protection and promotion of the human rights and fundamental freedoms of armed forces personnel.
This guide supports the dissemination, adoption and implementation of the 2021, ODIHR/Geneva Centre for Security Sector Governance (DCAF) Human Rights of Armed Forces Personnel:Compendium of Standards, Good Practices and Recommendations and the 2020 UN Women, ODIHR and DCAF Gender and Security Toolkit, Tool 3 on Defence and Gender.
