Ambassador Terhi Hakala is a Finnish diplomat who until her current appointment served as the EU Special Representative for Central Asia. Among her bilateral Ambassador postings to the South Caucasus, Geneva, and India, she has worked as a Director-General for Russia, Eastern Europe and Central Asia, the Head of the OSCE Mission to Georgia, and Ambassador for Countering Hybrid Threats.
