OSCE supports constituent session of co-ordination team of Municipal Project Managers Network in Montenegro
The OSCE Mission to Montenegro in co-operation with the Union of Municipalities supported the first constituent session of the co-ordination team for the management of the Municipal Project Managers Network on 5 October 2016 in Podgorica.
The Network was established by the Union of Municipalities to create a platform for a permanent exchange of experiences on the implementation of projects, particularly those financed from donor funds. It also aims to provide support for expanding knowledge by learning from one another, where project managers with more experience can impart knowledge to others. Network members use their knowledge to help the Union of Municipalities and, above all, its members in the programming of donor funds, as well as in the management of the approved projects.
Following the election of the president and vice-president of the co-ordination team, participants adopted the rules of procedure and established the guidelines and priorities for the team and the Network.
The OSCE Mission will continue supporting the work of the Network and co-ordination team by organizing meetings for exchange of experiences and enhancing inter-municipal co-operation on new project activities.
