OSCE Mission to Montenegro co-organizes workshop on applying law on spatial planning and construction in local government
The OSCE Mission to Montenegro, in partnership with the Union of Municipalities and the Ministry for Sustainable Development and Tourism, organized a two-day workshop on 23 and 24 October 2014 in Mojkovac, on application of the Law on Spatial Planning and Construction in Local Government.
Some 60 participants discussed the implementation of the ‘one-stop shop’ system, the importance of public transparency in the field of construction, and the introduction of new by-laws for the proper implementation of the Law on Spatial Planning and Construction.
Chief administrators, local government workers and civil servants responsible for planning and construction in the municipalities of Bijelo Polje, Petnjica, Rozaje,Mojkovac and Kolasin also discussed the accessibility of public facilities for people with disabilities and reduced mobility.
The next workshop is scheduled for the first week of November in Zabljak.
