OSCE Mission to Skopje presents evaluation report of its training courses for police on the Law on Criminal Procedure
The OSCE Mission to Skopje on 20 April 2017 presented the findings and recommendations of an evaluation of the OSCE’s training courses for police on the Law on Criminal Procedure, which were conducted between 2011 and 2015.
Representatives from the Ministry of Internal Affairs, public prosecutors, judges, lawyers, legal practitioners and academics discussed the results of the impact evaluation report at an event in Skopje.
More than 970 police officers attended the basic training courses and some 770 took part in the advanced training courses organized by the Mission. The impact evaluation, which was undertaken last year, focused on the behaviour and performance of the police officers since undergoing the training.
The findings and recommendations of the report will be used to maintain and improve the impact of police officers’ training and to enhance the implementation of the Law on Criminal Procedure.
