Recommended lexis for the subject Serbian as a non-mother tongue for the second cycle of compulsory education

The manual represents an auxiliary tool for teachers of Serbian as a non-mother tongue in the achievement of learning outcomes in the second cycle of compulsory education. It contains 400 recommended words and grammatical and semantic elements that students from fifth till eight grade of elementary school need to acquire, in line with the learning outcomes and thematic units that are part of the new curriculum for Serbian as a non-mother tongue. The purpose of the manual is to enable smoother adoption of the most frequently used terminology in Serbian. The manual also includes five illustrations which will be of practical assistance to teachers in organising the Serbian language classes. This manual is not available in English.
