Reporting on domestic violence - Guidelines for journalists
This guide helps journalists to report more effectively on domestic violence in a victim-sensitive manner that addresses domestic violence as a serious concern, whilst providing appropriate context and holding institutions to account. With an overall aim to provide the media with a solid foundation to shape public discourse and enact policy change, the guidelines include an overview of the relevant legal framework, civil proceedings, victim-sensitive reporting and domestic violence shelters and helplines.
The guide is available in Albanian, Serbian and English.
