Kosovo Police Service officers cast their votes early in Kosovo

PRISTINA, 7 November 2001 - Kosovo Police Service officers are casting their ballots this week as part of the special needs voting programme, since they will be on duty on election day. As part of the OSCE special needs voting programme, specific arrangements have been made to enable them to vote in advance.
More than 4,000 officers are being allowed to vote at a number of locations around Kosovo between today, Wednesday, 7 November, and Friday, 9 November. There will be a photo opportunity for photographers and videographers interested in covering this part of the process on 8 November, at 10:00, in the United Nations Mission in Kosovo police station #1, in Kosovo's capital Pristina.
