Fifth class graduates from Kosovo Police Service School

PRISTINA, 16 June 2000 - A class of 277 new recruits will graduate from the OSCE Kosovo Police Service School on Saturday, 17 June. It's the fifth class which has passed through the school.
The class comprises 264 Kosovo Albanians, 10 Serbs, two Bosniaks and one Turk. Twenty-eight students were women. The cadets' training in democratic policing continues on the street with United Nations Civilian Police and a further 80 hours of classroom instruction.
Two classes are now running simultaneously at the school. The sixth class will graduate in another four weeks while the seventh class, for which 374 potential students have been identified, commences studies on Monday, 26 June.
