Freimut Duve is concerned about the media conflict in Prague

VIENNA, 29 December 2000 - The OSCE Representative on Freedom of the Media, Freimut Duve, showed his concern about the media conflict in Prague and has asked the Czech Foreign Minister for clarification.

As a personal statement, Mr. Duve added: "As a former editor of the political writings of Vaclav Havel and others, I follow with great respect the expressions of solidarity of the Czech authors and intellectuals with the journalists."
