OSCE Media Freedom Representative to visit Bosnia and Herzegovina 29 June – 3 July
VIENNA, 26 June 2015 – The OSCE Representative on Freedom of the Media, Dunja Mijatović, will visit Bosnia and Herzegovina on 29 June – 3 July to discuss media freedom issues with senior government officials, civil society and media representatives.
During her visit Mijatović will meet with members of the BiH Presidency, Chairman of the Council of Ministers, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Minister of Transport and Communications, and Speakers of both Houses of the Parliamentary Assembly. The Representative will also meet with Republika Srpska and Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina officials, including Entity Prime Ministers, Minister of Interior, and Minister of Transport and Communications.
During her visit, the Representative will also host two roundtable meetings with civil society and media representatives in Sarajevo and Banja Luka.
On 2 July the Representative will hold a press conference to brief members of the media on her visit and her meetings. Journalists are invited to attend the press conference which starts at 12.00 at UNITIC Business Center, Tower A, 21st floor, Fra Anđela Zvizdovića 1, Sarajevo 71000.
