Irish Deputy Prime Minister to address OSCE on Wednesday
VIENNA, 21 June 2011 - Ireland's Tánaiste (Deputy Prime Minister) and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade, Eamon Gilmore, will address the OSCE on Wednesday.
Gilmore is expected to discuss preparations ahead of Ireland's 2012 OSCE Chairmanship in his speech to a special meeting of the OSCE Permanent Council.
The Permanent Council is one of the main regular decision-making bodies of the Organization. It convenes weekly in Vienna to discuss developments in the OSCE area and to make appropriate decisions.
Journalists are invited to cover the speech, set to start at 9:30 on 22 June in the Hofburg Congress Centre's Neuer Saal.
