OSCE Chairman calls Serbian Prime Minister Kostunica, urges restraint

VIENNA, 19 March 2004 - The OSCE Chairman-in-Office, Bulgarian Foreign Minister Solomon Passy, renewed his condemnation of violence in Kosovo in a telephone conversation with Serbian Prime Minister Vojislav Kostunica and both leaders agreed on the need for restraint and moderation from all sides.
Minister Passy called on all political leaders in Kosovo to use their influence to put an end to the deplorable violence of the last few days.
