Mission to Bosnia and Herzegovina officials meet with Croat Coordination
SARAJEVO 26 April 2001
SARAJEVO, 26 April 2001 - The Head of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) Mission to Bosnia and Herzegovina, Ambassador Robert L. Barry, and Deputy Head of Mission, Ambassador Dieter Woltmann, met with leaders from the Croat Coordination yesterday afternoon.
During the course of the meeting, the Coordination leaders stated some of their preconditions with regard to the election law and the implementation of the Constitutional Court decision as they prepare to visit Zagreb today to meet with government officials of the Republic of Croatia.
"We had a frank exchange of views on a variety of subjects related to amending the entity constitutions and the current political situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina," said Ambassador Barry. "While we don't see eye to eye on every issue, I consider the ongoing dialogue constructive and useful."
This meeting was a continuation of discussions with representatives of the Coordination earlier this month.
