Final preliminary results from Bosnia and Herzegovina elections to be released tomorrow
SARAJEVO 20 November 2000
SARAJEVO, 20 November 2000 - The OSCE Mission to Bosnia and Herzegovina will release the final preliminary unofficial results of the November 11 general elections at a press conference tomorrow at 12:30 at the Sarajevo Counting Centre the Joint Institutions Building in Marijin Dvor.
More than 98% of the ballots cast have been counted and were included in the results issued yesterday. The remaining ballots are tendered ballots which are currently being verified and, if valid, counted at the Counting Centre.
All media are kindly invited to attend this press conference.
The OSCE reminds cameramen and photographers that they need to take battery packs and camera lights, since electrical supply in the Counting Centre is limited, and the rooms inside Marijin Dvor are not equipped with sufficient available light for professional filming.
For further information, please contact OSCE Spokesperson Luke Zahner at ++387/(0)33/292-449 and ++387/(0)66/144-311, or Deputy Sanela Tunovic-Becirovic at ++387/(0)33/292-338 and ++387/(0)66/134-758.
