SARAJEVO, 15 November 2000 - The OSCE Mission to Bosnia and Herzegovina today is releasing further preliminary, partial general election results for the following races: Parliamentary Assembly of BiH; Federation House of Representatives; National Assembly of the Republika Srpska; President and Vice President of Republika Srpska; the municipal elections in Srebrenica and the ten Federation cantons.
The results are preliminary and include unaudited Election Commission (EC) results and more Counting Center results. The results released today include results from 144 of 148 election commission reports, 59 from the Republika Srpska and 85 from the Federation. They account for approximately 86% of votes cast.
These results will be available on the OSCE Mission to Bosnia and Herzegovina website at www.oscebih.org. Only the results for those parties with the highest number of votes are listed, as well as the total number of votes counted so far for that particular race and the percentages of the total votes those parties have so far. (The numbers will not add up since parties with smaller numbers of votes are not listed.). Media representatives can also obtain copies at the Counting Center in Sarajevo. Final results will be made available only after the Provisional Election Commission has certified them.
