Election song on tour in final pre-election week in Bosnia and Herzegovina

SARAJEVO, 3 November 2000 - As part of the overall effort to increase youth voter participation in the up-coming November 11 general elections, the OSCE Mission to Bosnia and Herzegovina is organizing a 'Get Out The Vote' (GOTV) promotional tour of the official election song 'Zgrabi Svoju Srecu'.
The tour, which will visit seven locations throughout BiH, will include live performances of the song, by the singers, Irina Kapetanovic, Marija Sestic, and Sanja Volic. In addition, 3,000 cassettes of the song and 600 t-shirts bearing the election logo will be distributed free of charge.

Sunday, November 5 - Trebinje 1300 hrs at the Market Place Platani (special one hour preview) 1900 hrs to 2400 hrs at the Old Town Square
Monday, November 6 - Mostar 1200 hrs at the Pavaroti Center 1400 hrs at the Grammar School (at the "Spanish Square")
Tuesday, November 7 - Visegrad 1200 hrs at the Main Square in front of Hotel Visegrad, just past the Stari Most
Tuesday, November 7 - Siroki Brijeg 1730 hrs at the Main Square opposite the OSCE Field Office
Wednesday, November 8 - Tuzla 1300 hrs and 1900 hrs at the Main Square ("ispred Kino Centra") in the middle of Tuzla
Thursday, November 9 - Prijedor 1300 hrs to 1500 hrs outside "Patrija" on Trg Zoran Karlica
Thursday, November 9 - Banja Luka 1600 hrs to 1900 hrs at the Main Square in front of "Boska" Department Store
The OSCE established its present Mission to Bosnia and Herzegovina on 18 December 1995. In accordance with the General Framework Agreement for Peace (GFAP), the OSCE Mission activities are to: promote Democratization and the building of a vibrant civil society, foster the development of professional journalism and monitor the rights of journalists, monitor and advance the Human Rights situation, supervise the conduct of Elections, and encourage Regional Stabilization through arms control and confidence and security-building measures. The OSCE Mission continues to work closely with other international organizations and local institutions to implement the Dayton Peace Accords.
