Four candidates declared ineligible in Bosnia and Herzegovina elections
SARAJEVO 24 October 2000
SARAJEVO, 24 October 2000 -The Provisional Election Commission in Bosnia and Herzegovina has declared the following general election candidates ineligible to stand for office. They have been found in violation of Articles 108 of the Provisional Election Commission Rules and Regulations, which prohibit illegal occupants from running for or holding office.
The following candidates for the general elections have been removed:
They have been declared ineligible to stand as candidates for the forthcoming general elections due to their failure to vacate property they illegally occupied within the deadline stipulated in an administrative decision. Though their names cannot be removed from the ballots at this date, announcements of their ineligibility to run will be placed in polling stations, as was the practice in previous elections.

The following candidates for the general elections have been removed:
- Mr. Sreto Milosavac, (DPS-Predrag Radic), candidate for the RS National Assembly, Constituency No. 1
- Mr. Tomislav Bojanic (SDS), candidate for the RS National Assembly, Constituency No. 2
- Mr. Hakija Babacic (Liberalno demokratska stranka), candidate for the Assembly of the Una-Sana Canton
- Mr. Adem Musija (Liberalno demokratska stranka), candidate for the FBiH House of Representatives, Constituency No. 11
