This Catalogue contains information provided by civil society organizations from the left bank of the Dniester/Nistru River and non-governmental organizations on the right bank with partnership experience across the Dniester/Nistru River. The list of organizations is not exhaustive; the information is presented only about organizations which expressed interest to be included in the Catalogue.

It is important to now what is a hate crime. When a hate crime is committed, one or more perpetrators target the victim, which can be one or more people or property, because of a protected aspect of the victim's identity, such as religion or ethnicity, race, sexual orientation or disability. Similarly, a hate incident is an act of hostility motivated by prejudice or bias that does not necessarily reach the threshold of a criminal offence, or the criminal nature of which is yet to be determined. A hate crime is any crime where the perpetrator is driven by prejudice or bias. Criminal offence + bias motive = hate crime

This paper provides an overview of the current state of the art in research on corruption and gender. The paper addresses the important question of how men and women are impacted differently by corruption, focusing on areas that are relevant to the OSCE mandate. The discussion also highlights the issue of “sextortion”, a form of corruption that disproportionately affects women. The paper concludes by highlighting selected promising practices and proposes several approaches to mainstreaming gender into the anti-corruption work of the OSCE.

This edition of OSCEval News is dedicated to 'Learning from Working During the COVID-19 Pandemic'. This review covers the period March 2020- June 2021 and was conducted by the Office of Internal Oversight (OIO) to assess to what extent the COVID-19 pandemic had affected project implementation in the OSCE, while identifying lessons learned related to organizational adaptability and resilience.

This document is a brief summary of the Occasional Paper N. 10 Applying Gender-Sensitive Approaches in Combating Trafficking in Human Beings, based on findings from a multi-method research project, including surveys, interviews, and expert group meetings with participants from more than half of the OSCE participating States. By bringing together the voices of survivors, anti-trafficking experts, service providers, and law enforcement, this document offers a comprehensive account of gender aspects in trafficking in human beings. It also provides a basis for discussion about possible ways to apply gender-sensitive approaches to combating trafficking in human beings. The report, therefore, explores a number of gender-related aspects that are often not addressed in existing strategies in terms of prevention, protection, and prosecution.

This best practice guide was originally drafted and developed as Annex C – Man-portable Air Defense Systems (MANPADS) to the Best Practice Guide on National Procedures for Stockpile Management, Security and Destruction by the governments of the United States of America, Germany, Canada, France, United Kingdom, Italy, Russian Federation, Sweden and Turkey. This revision establishes a stand-alone, best practice guideline on National Procedures for Stockpile Management, Security and Destruction of Man-portable Air Defense Systems (MANPADS), drafted by the government of the United States of America with review and recommendations submitted from Germany, United Kingdom, Russian Federation, Switzerland and OSCE Field Offices.

This practical guide is intended to support the full range of parliamentary actors — from parliamentary leadership teams, members of parliament, and political and parliamentary staff, to parliamentary practitioners and civil society organizations dealing with gender equality issues — in transforming these institutions into gender-sensitive parliaments.
