The guidebook presents the changes introduced in the new criminal procedure law regarding the investigation phase. It consists of guiding material that can serve as a basis for the daily work of prosecutors and defence attorneys who have the responsibility of conducting investigations.

The Research done by the Institute of Rural Development as commissioned by OSCE Project Co-ordinator in Ukraine provides an overview and detailed analysis of Ukrainian laws regulating civil society funding and taxation issues with focus on problematic issues relating to application of legal provisions to practice. It also contains recommendations as to improvement of the existing regulatory framework in line with the best international practices, the need for consistency and effectiveness in fostering sustainable development and financial independence of civil society organisations. The research, conducted with the support of the OSCE Project Co-ordinator in Ukraine, provides an overview of some successful international practices in building and maintaining efficient co-operation between government authorities and civil society.
