The Border Police of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) presented the Protected Documents Handbook developed with the support of the OSCE Mission to BiH, at an event in Sarajevo on 28 January 2019.

In response to the announcement of SDA’s initiative to challenge the name of the Republika Srpska, the OSCE Mission to BiH notes that the Dayton Peace Agreement and the BiH Constitution clearly recognize two entities, the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Republika Srpska. The OSCE Mission encourages SDA leadership and all parties to find constructive ways to improve dialogue, understanding and trust between the Constituent Peoples.

Newly elected education authorities should focus on quality inclusive education dedicated to strengthening students’ skills and preparing them for a prosperous future, concluded participants at a conference on 6 December 2018 in Sarajevo. The event, titled #SviMožemoBolje, was organized by the OSCE Mission to Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH).

The second OSCE-supported intercultural camp in Brčko was held from 29 November to 3 December 2018. The OSCE Mission to BiH, in partnership with the OSCE Mission to Serbia and the Education Department of the Brcko District government, organized the follow-up camp to heighten the participants’ awareness of their potential role in promoting civic education, human rights, inter-cultural dialogue, as well as in tackling peer violence and other security threats.
