Five-year report on Croatia supported in the OSCE Permanent Council

VIENNA, 7 June 2001 - A five-year report on Croatia's progress in meeting its international commitments received broad support in the OSCE Permanent Council today.
The OSCE Chairmanship, the delegations of the European Union and the United States, as well as other delegations stressed their full support for the report of the Mission and its principal findings, including both the significant progress achieved by Croatia so far and the work that remains to be done.
The Chairman of the OSCE Permanent Council, Ambassador Liviu Bota, encouraged the Croatian authorities to take advantage of the Mission's presence to work co-operatively at all levels towards a resolution of the outstanding problems outlined in the report.
