OSCE in Kyiv launches website in Ukrainian
KYIV, 10 October 2006 - The OSCE Project Co-ordinator in Ukraine today launched a Ukrainian-language website (http://www.oscepcu.org) to inform citizens, state authorities, civil society and journalists about the Co-ordinator's activities.
"This website provides factual, objective and non-partisan information on our activities, making our work more transparent," said the Project Co-ordinator, Ambassador James Schumaker.
Reflecting the structure of the Project Co-ordinator's office, the website provides information on three main programme areas: democratization and good governance; rule of law and human rights, and activities in the economic-environmental and politico-military field.
The website also includes information on the 2004 and 2006 elections, documents and articles on OSCE activities, and a photo archive. In addition, web visitors will find there information on job opportunities and tenders announced by the OSCE Project Co-ordinator's office.
The Ukrainian-language website is also linked to the OSCE's main website, which provides information in English.
