OSCE Mission to Skopje trains police station commanders on general management and problem oriented policing
The OSCE Mission to Skopje will organize three workshops for 56 police station commanders with the aim of increasing the professional capacity of police in democratic, professional and efficient performance. The workshops will take place between 28 September and 9 October 2015 in Ohrid and Ponivka.
The curriculum, developed in co-operation with an international expert and the Interior Ministry, includes a module on general management and problem-oriented policing as well as a module on existing police standard operation procedures.
During the workshop, police station commanders will receive a handbook containing practical guidelines.
The OSCE Mission to Skopje will hold next year a second round of workshops for police station assistant commanders.
