The Special Representative of the Swiss OSCE Chairperson-in-Office for the Transdniestrian settlement process, Ambassador Radojko Bogojević, made a visit to the region at the end of January, to meet with the authorities in Chisinau and Tiraspol.

He stressed that the Transdniestrian settlement is high on the agenda of the Swiss Chairmanship of the OSCE in 2014. “We are strongly determined to work on the basis of what was done by our predecessors, to facilitate achieving a comprehensive, just and viable resolution of the conflict, and help build confidence between people on both banks of the Dniester/Nistru River”, he said.
